The Milwaukee Brewers had not appeared in a World Series since 1982. The fans were roaring and would not allow the Tampa Bay Rays to slither and sting away. The ocean floor was clear for Wilson Contreras and Jacob Misiorowski.
Catch runners stealing and strike out players through five innings. Misiorowski got the job done for his first World Series appearance. He was a pitcher known to make an immediate impact when the Brewers promoted him last year.
He threw away his top notch fastball pitch and was successful. The Rays tried to build off Junior Caminero’s illustrious performance and Kevin Cash said their plan is to stick to the same that has gotten them far into the MLB Postseason.
Christian Yelich hammered away a clutch RBI triple straight in the first inning to send home Jackson Chourio for a 2-0 score. Jonny De Luca tried to use his speed to ultimately avoid any kind of mishap.
As I have said in the past, the Rays still have time to change things around. Tampa fans can expect a quality outing from Drew Rasmussen and Freddy Peralta as they aim to win Games 2 & 3.
