Lindsey Vonn competed in the downhill Sunday, and failed. At 41, this was the worst to see Vonn.
Vonn decided on whether to insert herself in the downhill based off a torn ACL, and the results were startling. She mounted slopes never deemed possible except for one.
Midway through the race, she had to be picked up, ending her quest for gold. Vonn was airlifted and never saw her again.
The good news was Breezy Johnson won the first gold medal in the downhill for America since 2010. Breezy was the best word to describe a race for gold, nothing but memorable.
Greg Biffle, one of NASCAR’s 75 greatest drivers, passed away Thursday in a plane crash. It was not immediately known why the plane crashed.
Best known for his No.16 Ford, Biffle started his career winning the 2000 Truck and 2002 Xfinity series. After winning the Homestewd series three times, he would go down to eventual favorite Tony Stewart.
No matter what, Biffle went down as a two-time NASCAR series champion with 19 career wins. Even off the race track, he would aid to the North Carolina hurricane relief effort and give back to those that suffered.

Michael Jordan, former Chicago Bulls star, has filed a lawsuit against NASCAR and feels really confident. He told the Athletic, “ I wouldn’t have filed it if I didn’t think I could win.”
He voiced his confidence before Yellawood 500 at Talledega Speedway supporting 23XI driver Bubba Wallace who are in joint communication of working against Nascar’s ‘anticompetitve’ and ‘exclusionary’ practices appearing from a source.
