The Los Angeles Dodgers stumped to a new low when the Milwaukee Brewers defeated them 3-0 on Sunday night. Sunday marked the beginning of the week of a turn of events in which were unfortunate for two-time CY Young winner Tarik Skubal. Just when Dodgers fans expected a big turn out. They received nothing.
The score margin was 0-3 meaning nothing out of the Dodgers offense without star player healthy, Shohei Ohtani. Usually, the Dodgers are 268-188 with Ohtani in the lineup.
Brice Turang stole his spotlight when he catapulted a 2-run shot to left field in the bottom of the fourth inning. Skubal was in shock of what just happened and the Dodgers had a right to be, too.
They play again today at 5 but expect this new low to take on a life of its own. It could be calling for a beast or inquiring about Jacob Misiorowski for Game 4 or 7. This is what postseason baseball is all about.
Where the best come to play and this series could define who ultimately wins the 2026 World Series of baseball.
