So Soto

So, apparently New Mets outfielder Juan Soto is back in the news this time saying he has not spoken to teammates. This comes as no surprise as there were reportedly problems last year with him and former leader of the Mets clubhouse, Pete Alonso.

Now, not many legitimately know where Francisco Lindor stands in all of this but something seems fishy about the Mets situation. Just over one year ago, Soto signed a 15-year, $765 million contract with deferrals to become part of the Mets 40-man roster. Things could not get worse for the Mets as they are on a 12 game losing streak and recorded a loss to the Minnesota Twins last night.

There is no excuse for what is happening especially with GM David Stearns turn of events this offseason. He decided to flip the roster and listen to owner Steve Cohen.

Soto did not leave the New York Yankees for this and now, so far, he is paying the price.
