Tyrese Haliburton was not supposed to be in the position of a proclaimed superstar for the Indiana Pacers.

It all started when he was picked up by Iowa State. Iowa State met a nice, young basketball kid who utilized a low, unorthodox shot to his advantage.

Later, he was drafted by the Sacramento Kings as the 12th overall pick. Famously enough, TV pundits such as Stephen A. Smith vouched for Haliburton and his services.

Not a too quick time moment ago, Haliburton saw himself in the 2025 NBA Finals Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. That night, he tore his right Achilles tendon.

What is worse. Haliburton missed the entire year last season and has yet to play much today with a hamstring strain.

There is much to wonder if he will be the same or could have been as good as Stephen Curry. Rest assured, Haliburton still knows how to fight adversity and put on a strong smile.
