The Utah Jazz are transitioning to win. They drafted Daryn Peterson in the first round with the second overall pick. They also drafted up-and-coming rising star Ace Bailey a few years back.
Keyonte George is a Jazz player for the next five years worth $157.5 million. Danny Ainge is cleaning house and starting all over again. He has officially rebuilt the Jazz into at least a play-in contender next year and that is great.
George, last year, shot 37.1 percent from three and 89.2 FT%. Many touted his first Summer League game and he has propelled to $157 million.
George plays alongside former All-Stars Jaren Jackson and Lauri Markenen and he has what it takes to become one. George is just the icing on the cake.
George joins Victor Wembanyama and Amen Thomson on rookie scale extensions from their respective draft class.
