LSU dominated the Clemson Tigers 51-10 in what was an embarrassing loss for coach Dabo Swinney. Swinney, Clemson had not experienced a scoring drought since 2000.

Lane Kiffin learned to execute on all the right plays. From importing NFL talent to leaving Ole Miss and the transfer portal, Kiffin has drawn up scrutiny since accepting the LSU job. As it turns out, he has made the case for LSU to be a national contender again after this historic win on Saturday night, full of fans and celebrities such as Livvy Dunne and Justin Jefferson.

Ed Orgeron bode in quite well to the program as Clemson’s offensive coordinator Chad Morris was not the same individual drawing up plays in 2014. He had left a critical stage in his personal career with SMU and gone onto replace Garrett Riley.

The night was no mistake for LSU as they did not place NFL talent on the active roster. Speaking of which, it is disenfranchising that NFL talent are following the same path as the NBA and other NCAA programs.

It should not be legal for NFL talent to play in college.

The NIL deal pays the athletes up front for sponsoring and advertising deals. The whole process stinks up the tradition of college football excluding the newer brackets.

LSU’s transfer portal got a whole lot hotter when Sam Leavitt stepped into the game after an ensuing field goal by the Tigers. Once, Clemson scored it was go time for the former Arizona State quarterback as he had an impressive day. He may in fact be a Heisman candidate.

The defense played great adding to what Swinney did wrong. Critics say Swinney is actively stubborn which means the former national championship winner could be out of a job.

Swinney worked with Cade Klubnik for some time and that did not jettison too well. He tried to make the best out of two inexperienced quarterbacks. One was switched out for the other automatically in the second half when Clemson rushed -2 yards.

They just could not get drives progressing in the right direction and leaves doubt and concern about Dabo Swinney’s job security. Swinney was a former candidate for the Alabama head coaching job and who knows where he goes from here.

LSU answered the question that they can certainly move past the Brian Kelly era. Are they a national championship contender? That remains to be seen based off their schedule.

LSU has Texas A&M and Ole Miss coming up and Trinidad Chambliss is still in the high reigns there in Mississippi. So is Marcel Reed near Texas.

t will be interesting to see what comes out of the battle between Lane Kiffin and his former employer. Kiffin was the youngest head coach in NFL history for the Oakland Raiders, at the time, and sparked at Alabama as offensive coordinator.

Nick Saban gave him a chance especially on the pre-game panel when Lane Kiffin said Pat McAfee and him are two of the most hated figures in college and he may have a point.

Saban waived it off like he typically has recently and LSU fans have sparked a revolution. A revolution that nearly involves quarterbacks in high gear such as Marcel Reed and Chambliss trying to seize control of a sinking ship quick.
