When Jalen Brunson was 2, he never thought the Knicks dream was possible by the help of teammates such as OG Anunoby, Karl Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, and Mikael Bridges.
Rick Brunson helped Jalen up at this age whether feeding or changing diapers. That time would pass and Jalen developed strong relationships that included Bridges and Hart. Whether ordering Wingstop in the middle of a conference or enjoying simple press room bloopers, Hart was there.
Brunson was there for the heart of it. He would eventually meet his wife in school and graduate a proud Villanova Wildcat. There he not only met Bridges and Hart, Brunson would say hello and goodbye to the rich, silky, smoothiness of them all, Donte DiVicenzo.
There were many cast players who the New York mayor listed as credibly worth a mention other than DiVicenzo but Brunson.
He did not need a silver spoon. He was granted the keys to the city which was great but Brunson stood tall at the picture of hand.
There were 2 million fans flocked to see the Finals MVP to receive a strong look at what Brunson was going to say.
He said, “There is a lot of negative critics and when you prove them wrong, you don’t have to say s*** to them. They don’t deserve it.”
