  • Why Amazon Prime Basketball is off to its Worst Start

Amazon Prime basketball is off to its worst start for many reasons.

One, WNBA Hall of Famer Candace Parker is on the broadcast. She has helped contribute to the WNBA in so many ways which is why a former WNBA player or star should not be placed on the broadcast unless its Caitlin Clark.

Caitlin Clark did charity work, supported her community, and most of all made a hot impression. Clark would be the most reasonable option, here.

Secondly, they just do not matchup with the profile of Amazon Prime: Football. Using that platform, will certainly engage newer audiences but instead they introduce the same broadcasters from TNT’s hottest show at the time, “inside the NBA,” featuring Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, and Charles Barkley.

This is a mistake, which can be corrected.

  • Recapping Indiana Fever vs. Los Angeles Sparks

The Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks battle for hopes of a playoff position. Fever went onto defeat the Sparks by a final score of 76-75. Odyssey Sims and Lexie Hull were clutch without Caitlin Clark who will be the key heading into the WNBA playoffs.

The Fever added adept talent depth to go along with Clark such as Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. Three-pointers were on pointers and are critical heading into this stretch on the road.

Despite a towering block by Cameron Brink, the Los Angeles Sparks got onto 7-0 hot start of their own. Kelsey Plum was the leading scorer with 12.

These women have played excellent but now it comes down to a challenging test soon to determine the Sparks (17-20) and Fever (21-19) outcome in the WNBA seeded playoffs.

  • Clark vs. Bueckers

    Clark vs. Bueckers

Caitlyn Clark made no mistake of who she was on Sunday. She took it took to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and stuffed the stat sheet on defense by a beginning block to Paige Bueckers then a few more swipes to take complete control of her multi-faceted game.

Clark can not only flat out score. She dominates whether defense, assist, and scoring except Clark did not score as wanted so everything was played keen.

Clark positioned herself to bully this time rising Rookie of the Year and UConn Final Four opponent, Paige Bueckers. Bueckers shot better 9-15 scoring 21 points but was nowhere close to as good double figure wise as Clark.

Clark simply knows how to manipulate a stat sheet on her worse day. She could score as many times at Iowa but in the WNBA, Clark could account for Sophie Cunningham and Aliyah Boston.

Iowa Fever won a career-high total score 102 over the Dallas Wings (83) and now enter All-Star break with everyone feeling deemed.

  • How will Paige Bueckers perform in her WNBA Debut?

    Excellent or less?

Bueckers started her college career at UConn and ended it there playing under legendary coach Gene Auriemma and winning a national championship. The Dallas Wings face the Minnesota Lynx at 8pm ET and Bueckers plays in her hometown!

  • Dolan and NBA Collide

    Dolan and NBA Collide

James Dolan has been an outspoken figure in the New York community for well over two decades since the passing of his late father, Charles. He has taken over Madison Square Garden (MSG Networks) and rocked the place with memories which will last that include infuriating, Charles Oakley, standing pat with Isiah Thomas while no one else wanted to. Paying an excessive amount of money for stars such as Carmelo Anthony in particular to stay and become a household name.

He has done so many things besides booing but most of all try to come up with a collective way of business despite his downfalls. His downfalls have been mainly shadowing an overbearing presence and suing many entities. That is not the point.

The point is NBA commissioner Adam Silver is in bit of a triangle and I am not alluding to the one Jordan and Kobe played in. He has had to ruffle feathers mainly with more than one entity and that is challenging with the media rights deals to Amazon, NBC, and NBA TV. Shoes to the dealings of African league culture, WNBA, and G League action.

He has breathed many things to nauseam as James Dolan could stand.

Now we are led to believe the NBA will always be on top in the next 10 years with its new rights. I have got news. James Dolan is wrong/right.

Dolan recently interjected if NBA revenue is kicking in quite fairly with $75 billion revenue and other total subjected gains. How come the league is boosting its budget towards the triangle(s) aforementioned and mainly allowing somewhat its competitor now, WNBA, to succeed two and a half times better than the NBA, and in the process alleviate Dolan of his duties?

That can be frustrating for any big marketed owner of a team such as the New York Knicks as two worlds collide for something possibly better.

  • Caitlin Clark Everyone

    Caitlin Clark Everyone

Caitlin Clark is a really tricky name. It can be spelled differently and define character of the recent 17,000+ WNBA debut sellout and Indianapolis hurrah fans have clamored for since legendary quarterback and Omaha Productions concierge Peyton Manning. Clark is not a circus show.

Clark, in her debut, turned over the ball 10 times but subsequently was penalized with 9 points. To rewind, Clark netted single digits one time in Iowa college. And to rewind back further, she saw a crowd of 300+ only in her freshman year during the Covid-19 pandemic era.

Clark has come a long way towards earning less than $100,000 in the pros but Clark has proven to be a tremendous leader. She has handled herself in the best way possible during press conferences despite that eager desire to increase charter flight percentages, marketing, salaries, and the spectrum of Indiana.

Clark is not stopping. She and the Indiana Fever have the defending champ Las Vegas Aces approaching including the Seattle Storm. She struggled against former MVP Breanna Stewart recently and there are going to be moments Clark and even Sabrina Ionescu who failed to defeat Stephen Curry, learn from adversity.

The WNBA is a sizzling league right now. Ratings are increasing and fans are favorably immersed. The summer might be interesting but to Candace Parker. Sorry girl, the dog days are meant for picking up the measly pet’s mess.
