  • Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl LX

The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl LX by a final score of 29-13. Both, the New England Patriots and Seahawks, were back and forth on special teams, but defense showed that it defines championships.

Drake Maye was sacked six times while the Seattle defense went to work. Maye led the NFL in completion percentage (72%) and passer rating (113.5) and was said to be affected by a shoulder injury. Maye tried in this game after defeating the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship and struggled.

The game pretty much ended with insult to injury by Uchenna Nwosu. He ultimately ran back a turnover 45 yards into the end zone for a touchdown.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba only caught four passes for 27 reception yards. Nobody could have predicted a better game out of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker as he finished with a productive 135 rushing yards.

First-year coach Mike Vrael was not feeling it like he did in the regular season. He went on to win Coach of the Year and, at least, break some barriers. Now that Super Bowl 60 is completed, fans can start to look forward to Super LXI with Seattle and the Los Angeles Rams as co-favorites to win in 2027, according to Draft Kings sports book.

  • Sam Darnold Proves Anything is Possible

Sam Darnold proves anything is possible when it comes down to football. He is hot, flavorful, and touchy. He has defied all odds showing in the stage of Super Bowl LX.

Former teammate Christian McCaffrey recently said that Darnold shows to practice, ready. No whining or complaining, he takes over the spotlight and runs with it, just like McCaffrey. McCaffrey is a fast runner and smooth talker.

Darnold began this journey when he suited for the New York stinking Jets and had to revive his career. From all the doubters to jokers, he proved anything was possible.

First game as part of the Jets, he was alright, but then Carolina, San Francisco, and Minnesota, he showed up to make a great impact, and that took a toll on Justin Jefferson, when he said that the Vikings should have kept Darnold. So much for former Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. He lost his job when J.J. McCarthy was counted too.

To digress, however, Darnold has made it clear that his teammates love him. His style translates to today’s game. And makings of a NFL Films special is possible.

You are watching Super LX live on NBC, February 8 at 6:30 pm EST, with a whole lot on the line. Dignity, pride, effort, and sweat all at the chagrin of Sam Darnold’s NFL legacy.

    Seahawks, win. 28-27.
