The Philadelphia Birddogs are reinvented. Perhaps, birddawgs, that is.
Philly could not have started a more positive run than the 2017 season. The 2017 season was a glorious success. Carson Wentz was the highest selling jersey. The Eagles won their first Super Bowl. Nothing could defeat the 2017 season for the Philadelphia Birddogs, at least.
They had overcome extremities from losing Carson Wentz and calling for the next quarterback up, Nick Foles. Foles set the standard for a backup QB to lead his team to the Super Bowl and, also, against Tom Brady. The Eagles eventually won the Super Bowl over the New England Patriots.
They were capable but unable to defeat the Patriots in the 2005 Super Bowl but after the Howie Roseman-Andy Reid conflict of power rose over. Eagles general manager Roseman was able to become one of the interesting figures in football by first drafting Wentz and then collecting a group of players to play and be considered dawgs.
The Eagles have gotten over the hump by winning a Super Bowl in 2018 but fast forward to today, Roseman has begun to reinvent the wheel once more by now inviting the Georgia bulldogs to camp.
More contributions were made by Zack Baun during the Eagles first regular season game but the Georgia Bulldogs or Philadelphia Birddogs encapsulate starting role potential and overall spirit that count toward the Eagles glorious success.
