  • Rory McIroy wins The 2026 Masters

Back in Northern Ireland, there was a club ferociously rooting for Rory McIlroy. The whole world sunk in a wonderful moment for the ages.

McIlroy lasted two rounds with the remaining lead and performed greatly. He became the first since Nick Faldo, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods to defend the Masters championship back-to-back years. His poise was on epic display as McIlroy has become a huge ambassador for the sport of golf.

He attributed the Grand Slam win to his parents and got to hug a great lucky charm with the Northern Irishman’s daughter. There were so many magnificent moments, all that spanned McIlroy.

Scottie Scheffler was No.1 and finished just short of McIlroy. Cameron Young and Justin Rose deserved a lot of credit, too.

Although, McIlroy now finds himself in interesting competition with Harry Vardon and Nick Faldo for most Major championships by a talented European.

A talented European by the name of Rory McIlroy received his green jacket, proudly.

  • The 2026 Masters Starts Hot

The 2026 starts hot with reigning champion Rory McIlroy doing a much superb job on the back nine.

As for No.1 ranked Scottie Scheffler, he continues to stay in the race, trying to win his first majors tournament in a year.

The amateurs looked on par. And Adam Scott, the 2013 Masters winner, rebounded from a water putt to -1.

Watch the Masters on ESPN as more is to come. Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods are both out of the Masters for the first time since 1994.

  • How Patrick Reed’s Move to PGA Impacts

The winner of the 2018 Masters, Patrick Reed, is looking to move back to the PGA Tour in 2027 after not qualifying for the Returning Members Program.

This impacts Reed that he will be competing on the DP European circuit. He will be eligible to return to the PGA Tour on August 26, 2026.

Brooks Koepka exited LIV golf, a while ago, and has been successful ever since. Reed leaving LIV might send a friendly reminder, not to mix mash with the premier brand in the sport of golf.
