  • The Chance of a MLB Story with Statcast Trevor

It is an unbelievable story when you think about it. The Boston Red Sox had just extended the top prospect Roman Anthony to an eight year contract and meanwhile the other young players have been locked as well in the case of Trevor Story.

Trevor Story has been on a roll. He may be the worst Statcast cannon on the team with a 82.8 mph throw to first. The Sox were dealt with some nagging issues to start the season with first base such as the injury of Tristan Casas and Rafael Devers.

Devers refused to play first base and who could blame him. He could not play for jack in Boston in the year of 2025 and it was all because of his stinking attitude. Devers is now batting career lows in San Francisco even though the Giants are having a down season and most likely returning to form the following year.

Casas was a major concern but Kristian Campbell, Jaren Duran, Marcelo Meyer, Alex Bregman, and Roman Anthony have exceeded expectations. Just take a look at the veteran impact of Bregman with a .933 OPS and his homecoming in Houston. He still receives cheers as a major MLB superstar even though the coin has flipped to Story who has performed well since his May series against Milwaukee.

He went onto his first American League Player of the Week honors in July going 9-of-23 with 3 homers and eight RBI’s and has contributed nicely for the Red Sox to wonder if there are a legitimate Wild AL Contender? The answer, is a resounding yes.

The Red Sox is legitimate simply because of manager Alex Cora returning and providing a swagger of confidence. He tried the faith card with Devers but now this team is on its horses with Story averaging more games this year (115) than his final season in Colorado (142).

His stats are well up to par than most shortstops and you have to believe his veteran experience and Bregman’s paired with the youth of this ball club is destined to possibly beat out the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees and go on and win one thing, the AL East pennant.

  • Yankees Continue to Shock

    Yankees Continue to Shock

First, the New York Yankees reached the 2024 World Series vs. the Dodgers and wound up losing. Secondly, they end up losing star RF Juan Soto to free agency and now.

The Yankees want to eliminate their beard policy after 49 years in order to hypothetically win.

That stands correct. After having arguably an abysmal offseason, and not acquiring the likes of rumored Nolan Arenado or Boston Red Sox rival, Alex Bregman. They have decided this would be the best course of action for some of their players including Austin Wells and Devin Williams.

Austin Wells was shocked himself when discovering the news as George Steinbrenner, the father of Hal, would not allow this back in the 1950’s of U.S. Air Forces services. Wells simply always kept a beard during the offseason.

Meanwhile, Williams he simply did not want to shave his beard which could explain the theory on some players not being attracted to New York. Williams’ contract expires at the end of 2025.

What we have learned, however, is that despite the move to alter course with well-groomed beards, the Yankees are desperately doing whatever they can to stay the number one viable contender in Major League Baseball.

It has not happened in quite sometime but if you ask me. The New York Mets are beginning to reign territory and so are the defending 2024 World Series champions, Los Angeles Dodgers.

  • No Dodging L.A.

    No Dodging L.A.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are leading 3-0 in the World Series and they have a lot to feel excited about. They have shut down Mr. MVP Aaron Judge and seen the only success come from Juan Soto and Gian Carlo Stanton.

The Yankees have been struggling and even from a managerial standpoint, Fox analyst Derek Jeter argued that primed starter Gerrit Cole should have remained in the game longer by Aaron Boone but there has been no dodging Los Angeles.

During Game 3, Freddie Freeman hit a long shot out to the Judge row for a two-run home run. He has been a huge difference maker as well as Walker Buehler.

Teams that lead 2-0 are 44-10 in these dire situations so watch out for what happens in Game 4 now as a hobbled Freeman in Game 1 hit a grand slam to even the odds.

  • The Young Baby Bombers Land In The Major Leagues

The Young Baby Bombers Land In The Major Leagues

    Introduction

They are here. Who exactly? Jasson Dominguez and Austin Wells have entered the Major Leagues. Not only did they advance to the Major Leagues but they also both contributed right from the start. Crazy right? Usually anytime minor league players are promoted to the major leagues they need time to adjust but not these two young players.

Why Were These Prospects Brought Up?

Jasson Dominguez and Austin Wells were promoted for two major reasons. One reason was because the Yankees lost multiple games and they thought maybe it was time for a change. The other reason was the Yankees needed to provide a boost to win some games before the end of the season.

    Ranking Their Performances So Far

Both Jasson Dominguez and Austin Wells have performed really well lately. To start off, let’s talk about Jasson Dominguez. Wow. He was really an impressive figure. He is really young. He can hit. He can play on the field magnificently well. I enjoyed watching his first Major League Home Run. He is a joy to watch.

Ok now let’s talk about Austin Wells. He is a really good catcher. I feel like maybe he could replace Kyle Higashioka. He is also a really interesting and talented player to watch.

If I Had To Call Up One Prospect Who Would It Be And Why?

To choose one prospect to call up, it would be Jasson Dominguez. I would call him up because he is extremely talented and superstar-centric athlete.

Buckle up and enjoy the bashful ride because these prospects are here to stay.

  • Sho Me Weigh Out

    Sho Me Weigh Out

Silence. Silence erupts in Seattle’s ballpark for merely decades as Julio Rodriguez stands and lulls. Ball four. The umpire says. Multi-time all-star Craig Kimbrel stacked the veteran advantage and dealt another unforeseen walk. Until drawing the first National League victory since 2012 last night.

The umpire calls time. That is the Seattle series and the whole Sho-hang. Look at me handsomely Seattle, because Ohtani’s value accentuates patented figures. He is intellectual in the extensive branch of marketing and competing for years in Japan and Anaheim. He understands the game and how to draw a hungered, yet real loud reaction by Seattle.

So loud, they chanted joined Seattle and spread chatter amongst the oft-restrictive, dugout players on imaginatively private social media touting the surmountable success of an Angels outfield disposition crop and fandom for Ohtani.

If Shohei receives all-time praise with Babe Ruth from former CY Young and long-time New York Yankee C.C. Sabathia along with a FOX Sports tap of worthy hypnotization from the best Black successor to “Mr. October,” Reggie Jackson, and righteous captain Derek Jeter. How come Roger Clemens gained traction? Yanked suspicions are telling that New York will embrace the first Japanese leading born player and graciously should from a New Jersian with their current assets of Anthony Volpe, George Lombard Jr, Luis Severino, Domingo German.

One of those two primed shortstops for example and selectively international propped signings. This is a really positive, synergetic scenario and if the Yankees can acquire a one-two punch since Rodger Clemens and Andy Pettitte. Hallujuah!

Gerrit Cole graciously starred alongside former CY Young and greatly emotion invested winner Justin Verlander with the financial Steve Cohen shenanigans ensuing currently.

The New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers and other AL teams have been rumored to Sho-hei the money but what is stirringly fascinating is that Mike Trout misguides back to Millstone here. Is he on Pluto? The platonic size of the Athletic’s rocket ship?

Not the Astrodome. Talking beloved Mike Trout who is hitting a career low line but All-Star ballot .263/.369/.493 at the break. Honestly, Trout, should have reclined in a fancy designed chair and relax during Seattle and the MLB Draft which was not as buzz worthy to believe with a first round infield corner selection.

In a foreign country such as the London Series or Japan, fans look left or right in an encompassed angle and until north or south directs. All Shohei can say is Sho me weigh out.
