  • T.J. Rumfield is Present

    T.J. Rumfield is living in the present moment on the diamond. Rumfield was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies then traded to the New York Yankees. Brian Cashman and company thought they possessed a gem and now they are paying for it.

    Rumfield is a Colorado Rockie tearing it up at first base. In 16 games, he has hit 2 home runs, 8 RBI’s, and a solid .843 OPS. Tonight, the Rockies have decided to bench Rumfield.

    Rumfield is no ghost on the field when it comes to his tall nature. He is making Paul Depodesta look good and maturing nicely alongside another former Phil, Mickey Moniak.

    The two share something in common, no other team has.

    An agenda to play Colorado Rockies baseball and glorify the city. The Rockies finished in the bottom last year and there is no reason to get hopes down as a fan.

  • Are MLB GM’s Just Overthinking this?

    Sometimes, MLB general managers tend to overthink whereas managers focus on the current lineup at hand. Do JUCO or NIL athletes generate the money Konnor Griffin just did?

    No.

    The most a NIL athlete makes is 7.1 million dollars aka Arch Manning. Griffin batted 21 HR, 94 RBI, .941 OPS to impress scouts but he was just drafted.

    Is 9 years, $150 really healthy for an organization that has a bad track record? Other organizations such as the Mariners, Brewers, and Diamondbacks are locking up their young players, too.

    Could this be the worst early signing ever in MLB? Even though he has been compared to Mike Trout, he has hit 3-for-17 in his first at-bats. Strong first impressions matter as Griffin is only 19 years old and has the looks of a good, solid fielder for 20 years.

    The bat is an uncertainty right now.

  • What Exactly Happened to Paul Skenes on MLB Opening Day?

    Paul Skenes is a man of few words on the baseball diamond. He is vigilant with his pitches and most of all stands up the highest composure out of any MLB pitcher.

    On 2026 MLB Opening Day, nothing but a farce happened against the New York Mets. Yes, it was at Citi Field, but even worse.

    People saw Skenes touch significant career records. He ultimately allow five runs and 4 hits in 0.2 innings. He was removed from the quickest game of his career after only two outs and Mets fans could visibly see players such as Brett Baty become courageous rounding first.

    And, then a Mets rookie Carson Benge hit a home run to right. It was the worst game in Skenes’ young professional career and he has a lot to make up for it this year with especially new additions such as Ryan O’Hearn, Konnor Griffin, Brandon Lowe, and Bubba Chandler.

  • 2026 MLB Opening Day Preview

    2026 MLB Opening Day is here and it features the New Yankees vs. San Francisco Giants! On your mark, set, go! This series features one of the insane pitchers in the game, Logan Webb vs. Max Fried.

    It turns better after the series of offseason moves by both teams. Cody Bellinger is back following one solid Yankees season. Yanks currently have exciting prospects to get behind.

    As for the Giants, they added pitching depth and acquired the services of Luis Arraez and Harrison Bader. Bader should give a positive lift in the Giants outfield.

    Webb is making the team’s respective 5th opening day start as Fried tries to open a new bag of popcorn. It is Yanks vs. Giants on Netflix.

    Prediction: NYY 9 SF 3

  • Is Bryce Harper Elite?

    Last night was a travesty for Team U.S.A. They allowed Venezuela to win cleanly, absolutely fair. There was nothing U.S.A. could do except for Bryce Harper.

    Harper tied a must-critical game for USA when it mattered most. Even though Venezuela got away with a win, Harper flipped his bat like nothing came back to haunt him.

    Harper has played like this on a lesser stage, just not enough. The Philadelphia Phillies have been asking a whole lot of Harper since entering town.

    When ranking the Phillies top five players entering 2026, it is Harper, Scwharber, Duran, Turner, Sanchez that must start with a big impact. If Harper is ever convincing himself, he is prowess to the baseball gods.

    Harper will have to play with the same chip on his shoulder until time finally expires. Time expires to the point of exhaustion for Harper to do his job and that is at least win a World Series and prove he is better than all the rest that include Shohei Ohtani, Cal Raleigh and Aaron Judge.

    Harper is capable. He just needs to walk out to Phillies regular season baseball with an elite smile. 🙂

    This has been the mantra of Team Italy from the get-go as they, now, face Venezuela for another shot at Team U.S.A.

    Spectators were too uncertain, if they come past the semifinals.

    But, so far in Jac Caglianone’s handbook, they have. Be mistaken by Aaron Nola’s leathering mysteries of a curveball. It is hard not to get behind Italy.

    Team USA will have to hope they do not face Italy. The bottom of the order appears to be rocking with Brice Turang and Pete Crow Armstrong.

    Although, with the recent resurgence of Wilyer Abreu’s fantastic walk-off home run and veterans Salvador Perez, Ronald Acuna Jr, and Jackson Chourio helping in the clubhouse. Do not say we have awaken the Tokyo’s self for the 2026 MLB season, Shohei Ohtani and the World to retaliate.
