Player snubs happen in sports whether it is the all-star game, offseason, or trade deadline.
Lets talk about the list of MLB players that got snubbed of trades and walk away with a heavy pocket at the deadline.
Zac Gallen
Gallen, ace of the Arizona Diamondbacks, has been through a shaky outburst and there were rumors he was headed to the New York Yankees. Turns out, New York did not surprise. They made the right decision despite only acquiring David Bednar.
Gallen is a valuable piece because of his injury history but critics say Arizona locked in again with their aggressiveness to retain him.
Dylan Cease
Cease managed to withhold his ground with yet another contender so he is handy but there were rumblings that the Houston Astros expressed interest and that would have formed a devastating recipe.
Mackenzie Gore
Gore is the best pitcher on the block even though Joe Ryan makes a clear argument as well. With a 3.80 ERA this season, he has had work to compile with a mediocre defense which is why a change of scenery could have served him right.
Jarren Duran
Duran clocks in as the final as the Boston Red Sox confused the whole baseball World into buying or selling after the departure of Rafael Devers. The Red Sox stand a possible Wild Card chance but what is more intriguing is that teams could have sworn the colors would look better on something else of Duran considering his status.
