  • The Dormant New York Knicks

The New York Knicks have lied dormant recently in their quest toward a NBA Finals championship. That is what James Dolan recognizes as he left the midst of a Knicks game, Monday night. The Knicks have lost 9 of their last 11.

Carrying on this tradition, is awful so bad for the Knicks fanbase. They fired Tom Thibodeau last year and are following through with their new head coach, Mike Brown.

Brown has gotten some flack. Knicks fans are ruthless as it be when one head coach is swapped for another. The name of the game is to win basketball games even when the coach managed Lebron James.

There is no slight controversy as to what Jalen Brunson has assembled in his time wearing Knicks uniform apparel except criticism of breaking down the defense. He has been the proven All-Star to finish games in overtime, atop, during his prime.

There have been Karl Anthony-Towns trade rumors following the NBA Cup win over the Detroit Pistons. What could the Knicks possibly want for him rather than ship multiple 1st rounders for Mikael Bridges?

Giannis Antekounmpo has been in trade talks, also, and has separation anxiety from his brother, Thanasis, according to former NBA players that worked with him. He is a reminder of the Dwight Howard controversy if traded to New York because of the inevitable, increased hype for superstardom, also.

The Knicks lie dormant because of many reasons besides the fact that the New York fanbase cannot make up their minds. The New York Knicks must travel to each potentialize home game and simply cheer on their team to the very end, and that includes James Dolan.

  • Why Tom Thibodeau Legacy Flashes Back

Why Tom Thibodeau Legacy Flashes Back

Tom Thibodeau was once described as one of the most interesting, rising head coaches in the NBA league.

It did not take long for critics to realize his nature of coaching style with the likes of Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and Luol Deng. The Chicago Bulls were a team of the past. They were engined to run fiercely as fast as Thibodeau timed.

And, the best part of it all is now. Thibodeau’s coaching legacy is timed on the clock in New York City.

He is no longer a legend in Derrick Rose. Although, after becoming the all-time leading scorer tonight in Knicks postseason history, Jalen Brunson forgettably is on a legendary quest down 3-2 to Indiana to seal fate.

And, Karl Anthony Towns has been wheeling and dealing with his last game 24 pts, 13 reb, and 3 ast. Speaking of which, some of the TNT crew had a foot fetish of Towns. I would not understand the reasoning for that.

But, Thibodeau is a man who focuses on the court and retrieves the media’s questions. As a former Boston Celtics assistant, his primary job now is to tailor a cut throat fan base as the Mecca and learn from his mistakes as only Timothee Chamalet, Michael Imperioli, John Mcenroe, Law & Order Detective co-star, Spike Lee, Kylie Jenner, Ben Stiller and many others in Madison Square Garden can only count on it.
