It has been a hectic month for Lionel Messi. First, he loses his father. Then, reportedly announces to the world his retirement from international soccer.
After all he has achieved internationally, it was laid to a burden. Messi almost won in the World Cup to Spain. Somehow, Spain went home as victors.
Messi will continue to play for Inter Miami. The good news is Messi was a winner. He became the World Cup’s all-time leading scorer passing Miroslav Klose (16) during a group stage goal against Austria.
He captained Argentina since 2011 and was a two-time Golden Ball winner. Messi was Argentina’s pride and joy and will never be underestimated for his determination to win.
