Roman Anthony, the top prospect in baseball, has been promoted to the Boston Red Sox major league affiliate.

This comes off news that Boston placed Alex Bregman on the IL and pushed to replace him with another surprising prospect, Marcelo Meyer.

And of course, did I mention, the incredible popularity of Kristian Campbell? These Sox are beginning to look like the classic poster room trio on my wall of rock band, Green Day.

Still, last night, was a memorable one for Anthony. If I had to predict, he would likely have to savor the moment now and enjoy a taste of what is to come in the minors. That way, he is more sharpened with his bigger frame than most to execute on lower strike zone pitches and knock it out of Fenway Park like, typically.

Typically, he has averaged .291, .894 OPS, and most significantly 18 homers. Those homers will come in handy after the injury departure of Tristan Casas as Anthony has the potential to slam one out in the highest percentile EV.
