    • Bedard is Setting the Standard

      Bedard is Setting the Standard

Connor Bedard has only played two games and he has electrified the masses. To the point, fans ought to take strong consideration of his status as a fellow rookie.

The first night, Bedard set the standard in a back-to-back series of contests between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins. There, he accumulated one point to add to his first-ever goal in the NHL against Boston Swedish goaltender Linus Ullmark.

Ullmark allowed merely one goal in his home victory against the Blackhawks but if Bedard is proving one thing so far it is resilience for his size on both sides of the rink.

He has mastered this time again and will do once more when the Blackhawks enter a rowdy Montreal arena on the 14th of October. Bedard is off to a competitive start.

The key to his success will be limiting bad shots and becoming a less clone of Connor McDavid.

    • Braves Kyle Wright to Miss 2024 Season

Braves Kyle Wright to Miss 2024 Season

The Braves have announced that Kyle Wright will not pitch throughout the National League Division Series or 2024 season. This is unfortunate news, as Jesse Chavez is also out for the postseason.

With a single long rehab and lengthy process, Wright will likely see redemption or his way out of Atlanta. Wright was revealed to have MRI damage on the same shoulder inflammation that caused him to miss parts of 2023, dating back to January.

Atlanta likes Chavez longevity and versatility, but without him and Wright, the Braves will hand the ball to AJ Smith-Shawver and Daysbel Hernandez. Michael Tomlin will also fill Wright’s relief role, but the major storyline is Smith-Shawver possibly receiving the ball behind All-Star Bryce Elder.

Smith-Shawver has pitched six games this season with a 4.26 ERA. He has started five of six performances and appears to possess a sharp 95+ MPH fastball. It will be interesting to see what comes out of Smith-Shawver, nonetheless.

    • Bryce ‘Run Through That Sign’ Harper

Bryce ‘Run Through That Sign’ Harper

One word to describe Bryce Harper is emphatic. Emphatically, he brings it. Tenaciously, he runs it out like a pro, and when necessary, Harper pulls a 45 ACP in the middle of familiar showdowns of his hometown Las Vegas, and delivers. It is the bread and butter to Harper’s life achievements running the base paths.

It all started last night when third base coach Dusty Wathan tried to stop Harper from attempting home. Reminiscent of Pete Rose, Harper removed the helmet and ran blazing. Harper did not stop at the point of no return. He was legitimately gone, and Wathan was not having any of it.

Wathan could not be more glad that the Phillies scored, but waving Harper’s hopes, dignity, and integrity on the base paths proved one notion.

Harper finished with one walk and a strikeout by the Miami Marlins. At one point, Miami received an outstanding play by Jazz Chisholm to throw out Nick Castellanos.

Marlins left fielder was not enough for Harper, as he displayed how to play emphatically and tenaciously on the base paths.

    • From Oakland To Antonio Brown, Chandler Jones: The Raiders Are an Unrecognizable Mess

From Oakland To Antonio Brown, Chandler Jones: The Raiders Are an Unrecognizable Mess

The Las Vegas Vegas Raiders are an unrecognizable mess. What happened to the glorified days of Al Davis and John Madden leading the Raiders to Super Bowl after championship. It is a different age of time with the current Las Vegas Raiders and principal owner Mark Davis.

They are not necessarily winning Super Bowls but are in line of a 1-2 losing record headed into a divisional matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers.

First, the Raiders traded a third and fifth round pick for the rights to Antonio Brown’s voice. He expressed a voice loud and clear that he wanted out of Oakland after hardly playing a snap for coach Jon Gruden, Derek Carr, and the general manager Mike Mayock.

Things did not obviously work out so Davis went a step further and parted ways with Gruden, Carr, Mayock, and the premeditated plan, Oakland, which was not satisfying enough.

Those poor betrayed fans still driving from Highway 10 to 15.

Oakland was a vibrant place full of memories such as the Sea of Hands catch, Ken Stabler, and the last game in where it all started in 1959.

In 1959, Davis was only four so now he must redefine all odds as Raiders pride and hope maybe untapped potential rises in second rounder Aiden O’Connell.

The Raiders and Josh McDaniels are said to be a huge proponent of O’Connell and think he can obviously start sooner than later. Quarterback has been a glaring weakness for the team overall besides the fact that they lost a defensive end opposite Maxx Crosby.

It was reported Chandler Jones would be released by the Las Vegas Raiders dismissive immediately after failing to meet guidelines with his arrest.

    • Three Bold QB Trade Scenarios

      Three Bold QB Trade Scenarios

The NFL Trade Deadline is approaching, and what better way to stroke the canvas and begin work on the top three quarterback trade scenarios.

      3. Kirk Cousdins (Commanders)

Cousins reunites with his former team that drafted him below Robert Griffin III in the 2012 NFL Draft and shifts to change after an abysmal October from Sam Howell, who cannot be fully trusted with Jacoby Brissett to lead Ron Rivera and the Washington Commanders to a Super Bowl championship.

The Minnesota Vikings do not embrace Cousins as the starting quarterback and with a closely expiring contract. It is worth being expendable with Cousins and retrieving the best possible return.

      2. Zach Wilson (Vikings)

Add Zach Wilson to the Minnesota Vikings’ luxury mix, and Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison will have a fair shake of exposure on the down seams. Wilson is a former No.2 overall pick with the potential to play in a market calling for a dual threat of his possible magnitude.

The New York Jets can likely acquire many draft picks and continue increasing their stock in young defensive talent in Will McDonald, Quinnen Williams, Sauce Gardner, etc. If the Jets want to be ballsy and intelligent, they need to hold onto Wilson or utilize him on multiple offensive talents or the trade about to be shared.

      1. Russell Wilson (Jets)

Russell Wilson, might I add, has been down this alley before. Electric crowd, impactful defense surrounded by him, and wait for it. National bright lights and soaring winds high enough to scream, New York.

Russell will be playing in a new environment sometime soon. He will defer to his side of the field and play Jets football, days after Joe Namath stated he has basically had enough of Zach Wilson. Who could blame him? Jets fans?

Judgment Day is near, and the Jets could not end their season any better by at least acquiring Wilson as a starter or backup. His days are outnumbered in Denver, and it would not be shocking if the Denver Broncos said goodbye to yet another quarterback not as good as Peyton Manning or John Elway.
