Sonny Gray is a Red Sock
It is official. The first big trade of the MLB offseason took place between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals for Sonny Gray. Gray is a Red Sock.
This came after news of Gray wanting to spend more time near his hometown of Nashville, TN and play for a contender at 36.
This is great news for the Red Sox as they have been looking for a veteran starter with some postseason experience to go along with Garrett Crochet. The Cardinals cover $20 million as this begins the vision of Chaim Bloom as St. Louis president of Baseball of Operations.
Bloom spent part of his time in Boston and is now looking to rectify what has held back the St. Louis organization. This was one of the best returns they could receive possible by shutting down payroll and looking for the ultimate prospects to step up with Brandon Clarke and Richard Fitts in the race.
It was a smart move by Bloom trading Gray to an AL team as teams will against Boston are going to land priceless.

Where will Stephen Curry Rank All-Time
Stephen Curry was in the middle of a Google Pixel commercial as this was written so it might as well be revealed. Curry is one of the greatest point guards of all-time.
Do you remember the Kobe Bryant-Lebron James debates? Well it has gotten personal within Curry and James.
Curry will never be the same again and it is more likely, the Los Angeles Lakers have a better season than the Golden State Warriors, reigning No.2 inside the Western Conference.
What is the more important notion is that Curry stepped beyond boundaries meaning, sometimes, he has had to shelter a lot of weight on his shoulders, even it meant a current hamstring injury, sidelining him for one week.
Curry will always serve as the true platinum to the Under Armour brand throughout his time despite what critics say. He is characterized by his brothers, Klay Thompson and Draymond, and, maybe even coach Steve Kerr.
Everyone has loved Curry’s display of art and poise but where he will rank all-time comes down to top-10 ability and what else, he may just do to play and surprise in a quickly evolving, adapting league.

Why Nothing Hurts in Jalen’s World
Jalen Hurts is a Métis (relating to computer science) at this game, by now. He reads, studies, and prioritizes what schemes are being played whether it is April Fool’s Day or Christmas.
Around this time, some teammates share criticism and doubt what they are going to receive for Christmas. Hurts has completed 66.9% of his passes along with a 16:1 touchdown-interception ratio.
The only scenario is Hurts has been playing his cards right all throughout the season.
Star wide receiver A.J. Brown has been dicey. He has been allowing stupid social media to get the best of him and defer to Devonta Smith.
Smith has been called the renaissance man in Philadelphia and there is currently no petition for that with Brown trailing the way.
The games maybe less scoring but there is no confusion for how Hurts has won them. He can be a multi-MVP, stockholder in a franchise, and crowned prince all he wants.
Team comes first to Hurts as nothing is going to jolt that course of a proven back-to-back Super Bowl contender.

Chicago Blackhawks are Making a Promising Comeback
The Chicago Blackhawks were the pride of Chicago for half a decade. They competed with the likes of Duncan Keith, Jonathan Toews, Andrew Shaw, and Patrick Kane. Fast forward to now, they have suddenly picked up speed, especially with third-year player Connor Bedard leading the league through 16 games in active points streaked, primary points, and points.
He did have a dump off last year but now Bedard is starting the season better than ever with some promising hopes.
Beginning with Andrei Burakovksy, he has played solid staying up to par with Bedard on the top line. Without him, he would not be Bedard’s Leon to McDavid.
Another factor is Oliver Moore being promoted to the NHL. He is a highly touted prospect and even though Macklin Celebrini just tied Sidney Cosby for most points by a teenager through his first 16 games, trailing Wayne Gretzky. Moore would make up for, thereof, talent sitting with another player quietly sitting on the power play, Artyom Levshunov.
Overall, the Chicago Blackhawks currently possess a 8-5 record and have a chance to make some noise in the city of Chicago, again.

Why Paul DePodesta, Rockies is a Failing Project
“Moneyball” the movie debuted in 2011 and, I myself, had the privilege to interview Casey Bond about his starring role with Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill as Paul DePodesta.
DePodesta resume does not come lightly. He last worked as a chief stategy officer with the Cleveland Browns for ten years and has never been seen in Major League Baseball since. In fact, what is to say the vertical break and horizontal break logic has fit into a lot of batters’ success these days at the plate.
So much has changed in the sport of baseball since DePodesta last evolved. DePodesta is a time-making shift as to what the Monfort brothers have in mind. The brothers have always invested in profits more so than winning ball games and investing in the farm system full-term.
Without DePodesta and Monforts, nobody would be talking about the technology department and infrastructure, the Rockies have a lot to touch on before sustaining DePodesta’s job. Another thing is the pitch clock.
Many notable peers in baseball respect DePodesta such as Chris Antonetti, Alex Anthopolous, and MIke Elias. Elias, president of Baltimore Orioles baseball operations, did mention DePodesta might have a grasp about player health and performance spacing coming over from the NFL but nothing tells until DePodesta steps in and evolves the core shape of the Colorado Rockies front office.

Lebron James Avoids Thunder Jam
Lebron James is set to debut in the NBA G League very soon. This comes after hearing James will not play in the Oklahoma City Thunder premier matchup on Wednesday.
He will start practicing with the South Bay Lakers on full scrimmage practices and try to return to normalcy after a deal with sciatica.
The Lakers have nothing to worry as Luka Doncic is the top superstar in the NBA right now and Austin Reeves is converting 30 points on 48 percent shooting.
