  • The Evolution of Bryce

    The Evolution of Bryce

Bryce Harper is a man of his words.

When he first began in Major League Baseball, he played smart and competitively as a younger teenage phenomenon.

Fast forward to today, Bryce suits up for the proud stand-up Philadelphia Phillies organization of baseball. If you go on YouTube, take a strong look at all the acrimony that took place til his Phillies introductory press conference.

Has Bryce lived up to the big stage and moment of the 2025 MLB World Series?

That depends on who you ask, but, Bryce has taken the Phillies by his shoulders and tried to recreate history, especially when he discusses things on his mind with the media, too.

    Bryce is Bryce.

This season, he will hit, again, close to the 134 mark in 2023 and try to ring in Runs Batted In close to the same year. This very year, it was always about Bryce Harper despite what critics want to say.

People forget Kyle Schwarber low-balled himself in Boston and could have retired, then, but it was Bryce who uplifted this team from its misery. Beside, Ryan Howard was a great ball player that can still match vise versa as to what decisions have to be made by Bryce and the whole rest of the team.

Bryce and Schwarber have been a reckoning force during the offseason, that was the regular season, so, they must regroup now and all use their past attributes to recreate history.

  • Friendly Reminder: King James is Not Pronounced No.1

Lebron James, again, misses practice on his accord! Talk about a player who is coming back for his 22nd NBA season and bails out the respective teammates of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Austin Reeves was stroking the other night, while, Bronny James and Lebron were nowhere to be found.

Speaking of other news, former Laker Anthony Davis was told he has to wear goggles for the rest of his career.

Not a good situation for him and the fact that during his tenure in Los Angeles, he went onto win the Bubble championship with a capital asterisk mark. Davis was the best Laker that season and I would be remiss to say that Lebron carried the load.

From place to place, whether L.A., Cleveland, or Miami. He has failed to show. In his own right, he would like to be called King James.

    Lebron is a strong coward.

He left Cleveland and returned to a team consisting of poor-habited Kyrie Irving and sluggish Kevin Love. Lebron saw the whole big picture like he is familiar with calling and jotting down x’s and o’s with coach J.J. Redick.

If Lebron wants he will start a different tenure and coach with the same inspiring goals of wanting to be No.1. He could not replicate what Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan did.

He plays selfishly and will do so until he craves the burden of championships. Not necessarily, the team sport of NBA basketball.

    Go practice!

  • Stephen Curry is Expendable

    Stephen Curry is Expendable

As you just heard, Jonathan Kuminga has signed a 2 year contract worth $48 million. This is chaotic, blasphemy, and terrific for the Golden State Warriors organization. They have battled with personal injuries and disputes but GM Mike Dunleavy got the deal done by going ahead with a substantial offer, that is not so bad.

Andrew Wiggins would take more money over $100 million and still be proud-famous. Wiggins, unlike, Kuminga has earned playing minutes. With that being said, Kuminga has a chance to increase his eligibility due to the overwhelming support of staff and the front office.

Wiggins was a No.1 overall pick. We all know that. He was taken ahead of Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid in hopes of re-invigorating the Cavs culture after the departure of Lebron James. Truth be told, Embiid has been the best player out of the 2014 NBA Draft, in many ages.

He was selected No.3 overall and played a vital part in the Sixers progress. Much more, I can be said for Kuminga. He is officially on the Golden State roster for two years but it remains to be seen, what kind of tricks Dunleavy has up his sleeve.

Normally, when the Warriors add new talent around Stephen Curry, hence, do not succeed and emerge out of nowhere, it is not a good situation. There are three big alpha males and trios are the past.

It relies heavily on not, Chris Paul, Curry, or Draymond Green. The brewing situation lies heavily on what Butler can accomplish in his second season as a Warrior. Again, Dunleavy has made it significantly clear that the Warriors are managing the roster they have with a variety of support from coach Steve Kerr.

Kerr has been the main spokesman on the wheel for Curry’s NBA legacy and based oif what I have gathered. The Warriors withstand with two warrior alpha males, not one or three in a spectacle known as the Chase Center.

Let them be embraced with new additional talent such as Al Horford and D’Anthony Melton. Although, the secret ingredient is not former Warrior, Klay Thompson. It is letting go of the past this upcoming NBA Trade Deadline and coming to grips that the Warriors stand a great chance trading Curry to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for a healthier, better culture in Golden State.

They do not have to maneuver anything fancy by dribbling the ball up and passing to new talent such as Melton, Horford and integrating the future of Golden State basketball. Brandin Podziemski.

  • Are the Broncos Tush-Pushing?

    Are the Broncos Tush-Pushing?

    Hush.. wait for it..

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton is supporting the idea of tush-pushing. It is really interesting since the Philadelphia Eagles happen to be the next opponent on their schedule.

Well, the Eagles are huge supporters of it, too. Except, they are the mighty opponent since former Broncos coach Vic Fangio is on Philadelphia’s side and the tush-push has been converted 90 percent of the time.

Payton spoke loudly at the NFL player’s committee more so than the bounty scandal because this game is do-or-die for them. Payton is really asking for what his money is worth in this game.

The Eagles play with a type of resilience nobody else plays with. Last week, the tush-push started until it was flipped to Saquon Barkley against Tampa Bay for a touchdown

Critics can argue they have all the talent in the world to win.

Although, former Eagles talent Jason Kelce recently said in a secluded radio interview that the play will eventually phase out.

Tampa Bay was a good, competitive matchup and it is a strengthening example as to how the Eagles can defeat the Denver Broncos at home. Denver outshined the Cincinnati Bengals 28-3 on Monday Night Football.

They have a chance with smiley but injury-riddled J.K. Dobbins and sophomoric quarterback Bo Nix. The wide receiving corps is too good to pass on and New Orleans Saints fans saw it in Michael Thomas and Marques Colston.

Eagles fans can say what they want about the Philly special, tush-push, or innovative ideas. Nick Sirianni, Howie Roseman, and co. have the momentum to steamroll forward as evidenced by Fangio’s comments in February.

The Broncos are in early stages of their process to, also, establishing strengthening lines between teams such as the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • 2025 NL Postseason: Wild Card series Predictions

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinatti Reds

Will Smith and Max Muncy should be ready to go and help Los Angeles steer in the right direction. Stunningly for them, they play Cincinnati who has Elly de La Cruz entering his first postseason and there is nobody like him.

Until, they can expose de La Cruz and their pitching staff to the postseason more, this will be a no big for Los Angeles as they enter in first place of the NL West at 93-69.

    Prediction: Dodgers in 2

San Diego Padres vs. Chicago Cubs

It is easily the Chicago Cubs (92-70) but not so fast. The Padres are better home than they are away. Mike Shildt had this to say about the series.

“There’s not another ballpark, I would say, that can be any trickier than Wrigley,” manager Mike Shildt said. “We’re aware of it.”

The Padres finished with a 38-43 record on the road. There is reason to believe, however, they will take advantage of Chicago’s long drought deficit at home since 2017.

We shall call it the aftermath leading into departures such as Kyle Hendricks, Kyle Schwarber, Jon Lester, and Kris Bryant.

That team was special, not here.

    Prediction: Padres in 3.

The Red Sox meanwhile, have the young tools to finish this series in 2.

    Bold prediction: Red Sox

    Detroit Tigers vs. Cleveland Guardians

The Guardians land in the postseason for the second consecutive time and they travel to face manager AJ Hinch and co.

This is the second year, the Tigers have landed right behind the Guardians in the AL Central standings, but, make no qualm about it. The Tigers have their hands full in a tight situation with ultimate talent such as Riley Greene and Tarik Skubal.

Greene could be the difference-maker Detroit fans have all expected.

  • New York Giants win; Lose Nabers for Season

The New York Giants won over the Los Angeles Chargers 21-18 in a grand seasonal finale. Dart looked sharp, however, on Sunday afternoon, the Giants reportedly lost star wideout Malik Nabers.

It was certainly a crucial loss, but understanding so, the Giants have more games to accomplish in a critical comeback by rookie Quarterback out of Ole Miss, Jaxson Dart.

The next Giants can be seen on the road against the New Orleans Saints, who are looking to restart with experienced coach in the NFL league, Kellen Moore.

    Dart 65%, 111 yd, 1 TD, Rate 96.0
    Nabers 18 rec, 271 yards
