    Interstate 405

Dave Canales knows a lot about Seattle as he preps for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. The Seattle Seahawks were the grand home of Canales for 13 consecutive years. He would instill flashing positivity with the likes of Geno Smith and Russell Wilson for as many years Canales was quarterbacks coach. Interstate 405 brings back…

  • Why Kate Scott Should Stick to Westwood One

It was just announced that Sixers play-by-play announcer Kate Scott will be representing Westwood One. This is great news.

From a national standpoint, this opens doors for individuals such as Kate Scott on the audio end but when it comes to Philadelphia sports, she does not unfortunately succeed what predecessor, Marc Zumoff had resumed in the past with all the great illustrious calls on Allen Iverson.

At least, there was an A.I. at the time to drop a hint. Juggling two positions can be hard to manage which is why Scott should pursue her dream and not reluctantly work for the proud Westwood One.

She will work hand-in-hand with Kyle Rudolph then a veteran cast such as Joe Davis, Greg Olsen, Pam Oliver, and Jamie Erdahl. Scott cannot feel any more grateful. Westwood One executive producer Mike Eaby is mutual.

It all begins with the NFL International series in Dublin, Ireland after a series of Seahawks preseason games in 2023. All obstacles have led to this for Scott, but, ultimately, two jobs, lead to a colossal especially hanging in the accord of a prided market such as Philadelphia.

  • First Time in a Long Time

Philadelphia Eagles or Dallas Cowboys on Thursday? Thursday marks the beginning of a chapter without Micah Parsons on the Dallas sideline while Philadelphia from a hopeful NFL Super Bowl season.

It is all or nothing as week 1 commences with a humble slice of pie from owner Jerry Jones who looks to redeem himself following an abysmal outing in the offseason even though capturing the attention of Daron Bland.

It is Eagles and Cowboys on Thursday Night Football at 8:20 pm ET!

  • Recapping Indiana Fever vs. Los Angeles Sparks

The Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks battle for hopes of a playoff position. Fever went onto defeat the Sparks by a final score of 76-75. Odyssey Sims and Lexie Hull were clutch without Caitlin Clark who will be the key heading into the WNBA playoffs.

The Fever added adept talent depth to go along with Clark such as Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. Three-pointers were on pointers and are critical heading into this stretch on the road.

Despite a towering block by Cameron Brink, the Los Angeles Sparks got onto 7-0 hot start of their own. Kelsey Plum was the leading scorer with 12.

These women have played excellent but now it comes down to a challenging test soon to determine the Sparks (17-20) and Fever (21-19) outcome in the WNBA seeded playoffs.

  • ND Lose to Carson Beck Podcast Highlights

Due to podcast technical difficulties, here are the latest highlights from Sports Kingdom.

ND lost to Carson Beck. Beck had a nice game but not enough in his draft stock. Less far, to take it easy on most of week 1 projected star’s performance. CJ Carr recorded a nice 1:15 drive and QB draw less than five men in the box for Notre Dame’s defense. Miami alumni and defensive line ultimately came away strong.

Phillies lost to the Braves. Luzardo can go play for AAA. His sharp looks do not buy me any since landing in Miami. It will be interesting to see Walker Buehler appear in a Phillies uniform. Other than that, Braves pitched well into 9K of the innings.

Walker Jenkins is being raved for his strong performance down in the minors much so like Aaron Judge when it comes to his physical tools. Nobody will ever defeat Judge’s promise. Everyone is split on 20 year old’s rising to the big leagues so soon such as Francisco Alvarez being a prime example and falling flat.

Flyers rank respectively 7th in pipeline rankings. Three things stood out. The puck skills are off the chart for some such as Michkov and Martino who has barely played a game. What is more fascinating they have a better coach with veteran experience to work with, now, alongside Jamie Drysdale and some other good skaters.

Daron Bland signs a Cowboys extension worth $50 million guaranteed. Trey Hendrickson adds to the bonus by signing a one-year holdout contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.

In the end, the Bengals won.

  • What Was Notable of Jonah Tong

Jonah Tong was sensational. In fact, he was a phenomenon straight out the gate. It was quick, perfect, ease, and transition to the point, Tong immediately struck out six in 5 innings and called it a night.

    That easy.

Many critics compared him to Tim Lincecum prior to the game and they were right. Sometimes, it takes more than one game to assess a performance but Tong had it. He possessed poise and overtime Citi Field and him should have easy roads ahead.

Tong will come in handy for the 2025 MLB Postseason as his fastball touched 97 mph and rides elite amongst other pitches. Manager Carlos Mendoza praised his ability to take advantage of the heater and implement that and what people are criticizing his changeup and curveball.

Both, possess the ability for Tong to be an extreme new generational pitcher and help the New York Mets, tremendously. The New York Mets have kept themselves in a better position than almost last year when they fell behind and reached atop the Postseason standings.

This postseason will be a test and Tong is present.
