Malik Willis Right Option for Dolphins

It was not too long for the Miami Dolphins to sign Malik Willis. He signed for 3-years, $67.5 million (45 million guaranteed).

This was the right option for Jeff Hafley and staff. This allows the leeway to move on from former Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and set free a new, clear path.

Throughout the last couple of seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Willis served well in a total of 11 NFL games and completed 78.7% of his passes. He won two games as a starter and proves a reunion with Hafley is feasible.

The main question is whether Willis can handle a second chance over his Tennessee Titans days. Willis immediately got the call to play eight games during his rookie season and floundered through his last three games in red, white and blue.

Signs point to the naïveté dispersing into a big opportunity for Willis to miraculously play well.
