Breaking: Mets Sign Bo Bichette
The New York Mets sign Bo Bichette in yet another shocking move.
The Philadelphia Phillies reportedly netted interest until this was made announced. It was said Bichette started texting with the Phillies players before the Mets finalized the deal.
Bichette will move to third base while Brett Baty plays left field. Bichette rebounded from a dismal 2024 season and contributed significantly to the Toronto Blue Jays 2025 World Series run.

Not So Fast CBA
The Los Angeles Dodgers sit in a Fast and Furious lane trying to recreate each sequel. One after the other is infamous until Paul Walker finally shows up.
To no one’s surprise, the Dodgers reinvent baseball. They carve with what they can add to baseball and their team.
It does not stop there.
Jim Bowden recently appeared on Foul Territory insinuating that there will be an eventual new CBA spectating all of the Dodgers moves including Edwin Diaz, Blake Snell, and Kyle Tucker because it might be too jovial in some cases.
Essentially, MLB would like to change salary cap and floors to deride from this notion that spending is cool. The Dodgers only drive down one lane after the next, but the long-term will look scary due to commissioner Rob Manfred’s proposals.

Paul Depodesta off to Decent Start
Paul Depodesta, Colorado Rockies President of Baseball Operations, is off to a decent start. Because he has been out of the game for a while, does not mean Depodesta will figure things out.
Depodesta’s first signings in Willi Castro and Michael Lorenzen are a good sign for things to come.
Castro is a versatile vet from the Minnesota system that seems to be on the right track of Depodesta’s philosophy.
As for Lorenzen, he is a personal favorite of mine going back to his days in Philadelphia. He can play except general manager Josh Byrnes has his eye on depth behind Kyle Freeland.
Either way, the Rockies must address the seasons without competency and bring it to glory.

The New York Jets Horror Show Continues
It has been reported that Dante Moore is forgoing the 2026 NFL Draft and turns out worse there. The New York Jets are without a quarterback and the only one on the top-10 rated board is Fernando Mendoza who will likely join Las Vegas.
Just imagine if Mendoza joined the Jets. It will not happen for New York when one prospect calls to the rescue or a multitude of talent jump aboard. The Jets cannot get it right.
The Oregon Ducks share good news because of the speedy, elusive Moore returning and transfer of five star recruit Dylan Raiola.
Despite the loss of defensive coordinator, Tosh Lupoi, they stand to get better with head coach Dan Lanning still around.
The Jets will never be like the Jetsons that can tell futuristic things such as the microwave or Apple Watch. They are a horror show that cannot win after losing Quinnen Williams, Sauce Gardner, and Aaron Rodgers to the playoff Pittsburgh Steelers.

Camilo Doval Waiting in the Footsteps
Camilo Doval is waiting in the footsteps of a solid, decent baseball career.
There are no Mariano Rivera comparisons, yet, but his cutter jumps the gun at 98.2 mph. He has the outstanding possibilities of becoming a good closer surrounded by David Bednar and company.
Also, he was founded by Brian Sabean from his San Francisco Giants days. Doval will go a long way in replacing Luke Weaver, Clay Holmes, and Devin Williams.
Williams was never the insurance policy. New York Yankees fans can surely get behind a player such as Doval in 2026.

Joel Embiid NBA Trade Scenario
The 2026 NBA Trade Deadline is right around the corner. Here is the latest NBA trade scenario involving Joel Embiid:

The Sixers would round out a decent starting lineup of Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecomb, Michael Porter Jr., Paul George, and Nicolas Claxton. MPJ has championship experience and Claxton excels in shot blocking.
As for Embiid, his time in Philadelphia would come to an end after 11 seasons. This trade would welcome back the Sixers arena attendance and shift to a focus on consistency, again, with Jared McCain, also, being another front-runner to leave Philadelphia.
The Brooklyn Nets are 11-26 and could get better on a level of patience and stretching Embiid’s course in the NBA.
